Terms and Conditions
Safety
At JoyFit406, safety is our number one priority. Please listen to your body and always consult with your physician before beginning any new exercise regimen. If you have any medical conditions or injuries that you feel your instructor should be aware of, please communicate with them prior to class starting. A signed liability agreement is required to be signed before taking classes.
CYCLING
- At JoyFit406, we ride on the Stages SC3 bike. These bikes are limited to a maximum rider weight of 350lbs and require the rider to be at least 4'10".
- Shoes are required to take class. Street shoes are NOT allowed. We recommend a cycling shoe that clips in. When clipped in, your foot movement decreases resulting in an increase in pedaling efficiency. Our pedals are compatible with an SPD cleat. TIEM cycling shoes as well as SPD cleats are available for purchase. If you choose to utilize the cage, please wear clean and comfortable sneakers.
- We recommend you bring a sweat towel with you to class as they are not provided.
- Warming up, cooling down, and stretching are just as important as the workout itself. Please plan on arriving at least 15 minutes prior to class starting (no later than 5 minutes before) and staying for the duration of class - yes, this includes final stretches! Please disregard in the case of an emergency.
- Please be punctual. If you think you are going to be late to class, please contact the studio. Participants will not be allowed in more than 5 minutes after the start of class (evening classes) resulting in a late cancel/no show penalty. Doors are locked to the main entrance during morning/lunchtime classes 3 minutes before the start of class.
- We understand loud music is not everyone's cup of tea. If you have sensitive ears, help yourself to a pair of earplugs, provided near the sign in station.
- In addition to the height/weight requirements, you must be 14 years or older to take a cycling class. If you are under 18 years old, we require your legal guardian to sign a consent form in person prior to taking class. Please contact us via e-mail, phone, or by messaging on us on social media prior to booking.
- DON'T FORGET YOUR WATER!
- Please be considerate of others. If you are feeling unwell, please stay home.
ALL OTHER GROUP CLASSES - OULA, BARRE, HIIT, YOGA, ETC.
- In an effort to keep the ballroom as clean as possible, street shoes will NOT be allowed inside. Please change into your sneakers in the waiting room area.
- We recommend you bring a sweat towel with you to class as they are not provided.
